Jay-Z recently reveal on Rihanna's new album 'Talk That Talk'.

The '99 Problems' hitmaker gave Rihanna broke her in the music business, signing her to record label Def Jam in 2005 - guest reveals on the album's title track, giving a "crazy" verse.

Producer Tor Erik Hermansen said: "We are very happy with the song and Jay's verse is crazy - same with Rihanna's part."

John Mayer has undergone throat surgery to remove a granuloma

John Mayer just above one of his vocal cord granuloma has undergone surgery to remove throat.

The hitmaker made the announcement on his blog, he also revealing that he is now “on complete vocal rest for a month or more.”

He writes, “It’s been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks’ voice rest (along with many other approaches), there was no change for the better.”

He adds, “I should be frustrated but I can’t seem to stop thinking about beautiful things… I never thought I’d be wishing I could do what I love again; I stay in at night, picking guitar parts off of records and dreaming of playing on the big stage. The only difference between now and when I was 18 is that now I have this beautiful, meaningful record waiting for me when I can sing it.

“Until then, I’m taking off. Going to travel the country, look and listen.”

Arcade Fire will be awarded at London's Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards

Arcade Fire will be awarded at London's Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards in this year.

The ceremony will held at the London Hilton on Park Lane on July 1, while the band will receive the Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Award 2011 at the ceremony.

David Munns, chairman of Nordoff Robbins, said: "Their musicianship is exceptional and their live shows phenomenal, and with their commitment to supporting various charities worldwide makes them a true example of what it means to be an 'ambassador of rock'.''

Other winners include Biffy Clyro, who are set to be named Best British Band along with Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah and Status Quo.

John Murray from Manchester takes on world rated London rival Kevin Mitchell

Pendulum: “We need to force ourselves to take a break"

Pendulum band have revealed that after this festival season they can to take break.

The band's last album is 'Immersion' was released on 2010, have said to follow up some time.

“We need to force ourselves to take a break. We want to enjoy the festivals but we’re in danger of working too hard,” bassist Gareth McGrillen told the Daily Star.

He added: We don’t want to force the album so I’d say expect it next year. Drum and bass is our last constraint and we’re working to go past it. We’re going to ignore the tempo and work in different time ranges. That way there will be songs that sound a little more dubstep, or rocky.”

The band have been confirmed to perform at Global Gathering and Bestival festival in this year festival season.

Amy Childs love to do a rap song with Dizzee Rascal

Amy Childs has revealed she's a awesome rapper and would love to do a rap song with Brit rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Childs has shot to fame in the live show for her 'vajazzles' has said openly she would "love" to work with the 'Fix Up Look Sharp' rapper.

She told the Daily Star exclusively: "I'm great at rapping, especially after a few drinks down the pub. I'm awful at singing but my brother is amazing. He's got a fantastic voice but I'm useless. I wouldn't ever get up to give karaoke a go. Never."

Childs admitted her love for Dizzee by saying: "My best rapping is definitely to Dizzee Rascal. I would 100% definitely love to do a collaboration with Dizzee. I think his music is brilliant. 'Bonkers' is my favourite song.

"I was so embarrassed when Mark Wright starting rapping on The Only Way Is Essex. I told him straight to his face that it was awful and that I'm much better than him. He knows it too! I've rapped to all my mates on the show. They think it's hilarious."

But the 19-year-old doesn't limit herself to British rappers as she added: "I've rapped to Dr. Dre too, no problem. And Snoop Dogg, he'd be great to rap with."

Foo fighters and Gorillaz figures from fun with extraordinary album

Record Store Day, a time in 2011, all higher figures this year, topping sales of Foo fighters and Gorillaz figures from fun with extraordinary album.

According to the Official Charts Company sales of physical singles through independent record stores were more than doubled last year and total album sales were 20 per cent.

Foo Fighters album title 'Medium Rare' proved to be the most popular vinyl album closely followed by Gorillaz' 'The Fall' album which was originally released in the form of a free download for fans on Christmas Day.

Record Store Day co-ordinator Spencer Hickman said: "Record Store Day has been an overwhelming success. It seems to have struck a chord with artists, labels and music fans alike. It is now one of the most significant music events of the year."

Nearly 180 shops and 250 special release on April 16 this year participated in Record Store Day were available in participating shops.

“I’d like to dream up my own characters and situations but still be able to tell the personal side, the war stories.”

Oh, we bet those are legion!

Hamilton said, “I haven’t really said anything publicly until now about it. I wanted to get enough done so that I have at least established a voice before talking to publishers or editors.”

Kylie Minogue reveal at sick children backstage

Pop star Kylie Minogue secret show in Glasgow, a group of sick children is invited.

The singer Better Than Today is currently on her Aphrodite Les Folies tour and made the gesture after local charity fundraiser Les Hoey contacted her.

Arctic Monkeys have announced first track 'Suck It And See'

Arctic Monkeys have announced their first track from 'Suck It And See'.

Digitally indie group next month will release an album in May and a June 6 release with the following physical 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair'.

No single white label limited edition vinyl version, "brick by brick" record store day songs already released on April 16 with online will be backed by.

Matt Helders is a band's drummer, he has recently told how 'Suck It And See' will be more accessible than their last effort, 2009's 'Humbug'.

He said: "Some of the songs are a bit more instant. A bit more poppy, certainly than 'Humbug' was.

"It's enjoyable for us and the listener. And it's maybe a bit more easy going. Not easy listening, but with a few poppier tunes. But in an interesting way."

The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer James Ford and featured input from Queens Of The Stone age singer Josh Homme, who provides backing vocals on the track ' All My Own Stunts'.

Westlife gig in Liverpool Echo arena

Westlife had a gig in Liverpool previous week left their fans hanging on wires that after a technical fault was to drink because I was pulled warblers. They were a Liverpool Echo arena on time security staff are left waiting for sitting out how his work beneath the bridge.

A bystander told the Mirror: “At one point, the boys sit down and start singing from a big swinging bar which transports them around the arena. Embarrassingly, it broke down and got stuck. A load of security guys had to manually lower the bar and help the lads to the stage. They were mortified”.

The bright side, this theory some interesting ever happens in a gig Westlife disproves. I think that something interesting had to happen eventually.
